Located in Orange Park, FL, Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Cemetery and Funeral Home provides graveside services. Our graveside services are held at the burial site, and the service may be open to all or just open to the immediate family. There are options for a memorial service after the graveside service, which can be held at a church, the funeral home chapel, or a venue of choice.
We can plan memorial services at our funeral home or at a location that you choose. We suggest service folders, flag cases, memorial registry books, or other personal memorabilia to personalize the memorial service. Images and other personal items will also help personalize the service.
We can arrange cremation services for different types of services such as contemporary gatherings or traditional religious ceremonies. If a traditional cremation service is chosen, it may include a formal service at the funeral home, a church, or another venue that you choose. Cremation services will also include any necessary automotive equipment. We encourage the use of personal items and floral arrangements at a cremation service to make the service more personal.
No casket is necessary for cremation. Most states require an alternative container such as one constructed out of cardboard or wood. Some states require no container. No embalming is necessary. Immediate family members can briefly view the deceased prior to cremation. Some religions allow an urn to be present during a memorial service or Memorial Mass. We encourage the cremated remains to be present during memorial services because it allows a focal point for service.
We serve all local and out-of-town cemeteries. Reach out to us at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Cemetery and Funeral Home to tour our beautiful cemetery gardens.
